Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. As the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast who won four gold medals in the same Games at the 2016 Olympics. Biles is the only person to have three world titles consecutively. Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics as an infant on a field trip to school at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next 11 years. Biles received a silver medal for vaulting, and also a medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began playing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. She dominated her sport less than two year later. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her flamboyant attitude as well as the level of challenge she integrated into her workout routines for all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
