Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was a teenager at the time she was employed at Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman in LAPD. She grew with her 3 siblings within Canyon Country California, and made her debut in acting when she was four. She started her acting career as an extra in television series such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. At the age of thirteen, her debut role in a film Friday took place. In 1997 she became known for her role in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste who is a troubled teenager. Her debut N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nomination. Good was able to play small film and television roles for several years, before transitioning to more seasoned roles in the beginning of 2000. In Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter, she played Nina. The show ran from 1998-2001. In addition, she was offered small parts on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the movies House Party: Down to the last minute as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S an action-comedy film that received her nominations in the category of Best Actress on the Black Movie Awards 2005. In the following years, she was in movies, such as Cookout Venom One missed call Waist deep The Love Guru and You Have Serve. In 2012, she kept her busy on T.V. and in films in which she starred as Mya and Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man with a large cast and Dysfunctional The Friend, which featured a tiny group. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer was born in Texas she attended Baylor University, Waco Texas. She received a degree from the performing arts. The degree in performing arts was awarded in the year 2010. In 2010 she started her screen career with If you Can Dream, a web series. After appearing in a variety of local plays Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 on the first part of the Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The reality show revolves around an ensemble of actors who live in a Hollywood California house.
