Meagan Good born on August 8th of 1981, was raised at Panorama City in Los Angeles by her father Leondis Leon Good and Tyrawardlow-Doyle. Tyra worked for her as a manager throughout her teens. Her first job was as an actress at four years old. In the early stages of her career, she performed as an extra on television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. At the age of 13, she was cast as the character Friday in the year 1995. In 1997 she became known for her role in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste who is a troubled teenager. The film earned her the first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nomination. Good played minor roles in films and television for a few years before shifting into roles that were more mature at the start of the decade. Kara Killmer, who had been in numerous local productions prior to making her debut on screen in the year 2010, starred in Simon Fuller's Hulu show If I Can Dream.
