Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager while she was in her teens. She began her career as an actress when she was just four years old. Early in her career, she performed as an actor on TV shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. In 1995 at 13 she was cast in her debut film Friday. First gaining attention during 1997 due to her performance in the role of Cisely batiste (a struggling teenage girl) as a troubled teenager in Eve's Bayou, for which she was nominated twice as well as an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominated. Good played minor roles in films and television for a few years, before moving into roles that were more mature at the beginning of 2000s. Her Nickelodeon TV show Cousins in Skeeter was a Nina. Between 1998 and 2001, she played Nina on the Nickelodeon television series Cousin Squeeter. She also landed small roles in films House Party Down to the Last Minute and 3 Strikes. The actress played Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. She was a part-time actress in D.E.B.S, an action comedy film which resulted in her being nominated as Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in a variety of films, including You've Got Yourself Served, Cookout Venom One Missed Call Waist Deep as well as The Love Guru. As of 2012, she was doing work in T.V. The series on Hulu called If I Can dream revolves around the lives of a bunch of performers who reside in Hollywood California.
