Meagan Good's mother Tyra was in her teens when she worked for Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. She was as a character in D.E.B.S (2004) which was a comedy action movie. The movie won her the nomination of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. Killmer originates from Texas originally, attended Baylor University Waco Texas. She graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor's degree. The year she graduated, Killmer received an art degree. The actress began her screen career in 2010 on the web series If You Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career onscreen in 2010 after appearing in several local plays. She appeared in Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in its pilot episode. The show's focus was on the group of people who began to move in together in Hollywood, California.
