Meagan and Kara

Meagan Good (born August 8, 1981) was born to Tyra, her mother and Leondis Leon Good her father in Panorama City of Los Angeles. Tyra is a former manager that managed Meagan as she was in her teens. Her career in acting began at the age of four. She grew up in Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. At the beginning of her career she was an extra for programs on television like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. When she was thirteen, her debut role in a film Friday occurred. Her first recognition came from her performance as teenage troubled Cisely Batiste in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for where she won two awards nominations including her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good was able to play small film and television roles for the next couple of years and began transitioning into more mature roles during the mid 2000s. She was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. From 1998 until 2001, she starred as Nina on Nickelodeon's TV series Cousin Squeeter. In addition, she was offered minor roles on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the films House Party: Down to the final minute, as well as 3 Strikes. She played Vanessa Scott in the 2003 comedy My Wife and Kids. The show was nominated for Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards in 2005.
