Angela Sun
Angela Sun, an American journalist and television sportscaster as well as documentary film maker. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing and was a participant in numerous Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to sponsorship from big brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. The recognition she received of these surfing events was like a rocket that fueled her entry into the entertainment industry. Later, she became an investigative sportscaster and film director. Sun has worked as a reporter on several news outlets, but mostly as anchor. She was an anchor for Fox Sports Net in 2003. Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In 2012, she hosted American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. In 2014 Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute. She was the first Asian American to appear in ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has worked in numerous movies, and her skills as an actress have been acknowledged and appreciated. Sun has been in a variety of films, including Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun was the producer and director of Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
